Registration and Payment
Payment is not required at time of registration, however...
Slots for the Dash are based on date full payment is received. Teams not paid in full by 26-Feb-22 will be removed from the roster.
1. All registrations and payments will be conducted online. As listed in the rules - Teams may register at the morning check in IF the event is not full at 50 boats. In order to apply maximum fairness to those that registered during the registration period, and participated in the random draw for boat numbers, the following rules apply for teams that register late:
a. Only a cash payment for the entry will be accepted.
b. Teams that register the morning of the event (late entry) shall be placed as the last boat launched, in the order of late entries, and will be assigned to flight one for check in. This is for both days of competition.
2. This is a team event, however, may be fished solo. Full fees still apply.
3. The registration period is open from 1-Aug-21 until 26-Feb-22. The max teams for this first event is 50, however, registration will remain open to fill slots not paid for on 31-JAN-22. Slots for the Dash are based on date full payment is received. Teams not paid in full by 26-Feb-22 will be removed from the roster. It is highly encouraged that teams, once registered, proceed to a payment option to secure their slot in the Dash.

Timelines
1. Registration - As noted above
2. Event - 5/6 March 2022
a. Day One (5th)- Lake Mead, Callville
b. Day Two (6th) - Lake Mohave, Cottonwood
3. Boat and launch order - TBD after 26-Feb-22. Boat numbers and launch order will be conducted via random computer draw. Day two the launch order will be reversed. Boat and launch order will be emailed to team captains (boaters) and posted on FaceBook. Teams will also be issued during the morning check in, (See # 4 below) thier "Team Info Sheet" indicating boat number, flight number, and check in time for each day.
4. Morning check in - All teams must check in day one in order to sign the mandatory waiver, and permit required, sign in sheet. See rules regarding more specifics of the AM check in. Location for the AM check in is Callville Bay, by the store, beginning at 4AM. Each team will be given a slip identifying their boat number, launch order, and check in for each day (See Below), as well as a ribbon to attach to their trolling motor to identify them as a Dash competitor. (See Encroachment rule).
5. Boat Checks- SEE RULES REGARDING BOAT CHECKS AND REQUIRMENTS -
Beginning each day at 430AM. Two personnel will be positioned at the location noted below for each day. The boat check area will be marked by two orange cones.
a. Callville - Corner of the lower lot as you begin down the hill
towards the ramp.
b. Cottonwood - At the boat ready area - boat inspectors will be positioned adjacent to the fish cleaning station.
6. Launch and flights- SEE RULES FOR TEAMS THAT ARRIVE LATE. Flights will be reversed for day two.
Day 1
a. Flight One - Boats 1-10 - Safe Light - No later than 630AM
b. Flight Two - Boats 11-20
c. Flight Three - Boats 21-30
d. Flight Four - Boats 31-40
e. Flight Five - Boats 41-50
Day 2
a. Flight One - Boats 50-41 - Safe Light - No later than 630AM
b. Flight Two - Boats 40-31
c. Flight Three - Boats 30-21
d. Flight Four - Boats 20-11
e. Flight Five - Boats 10-1
7. Check In - SEE RULES REGARDING CHECK IN - Each day all boats must be within the tires at each location at the designated check in time. The designated check in boat will be positioned just inside the tires and will have the US Flag attached to the rear boat light.

8. Weigh In - All teams will be issued a weigh in slip each day (See Below)
a. Day 1, Callville - Next to the on the water store. As you make your way back in towards the dock, stay to the right.
b. Day 2, Cottonwood - TBD
Weigh in will be conducted using a basket, stabilizer plate, and pro series scale, with a digital display. A live leader board will be displayed with the following information:

Upon
completion of a team weighing in, they will know instantly what place they are in, any options they are leading, and boats remaining to weigh in.
Day Two "Team Hot Seats" - The leading team does have an option to take the "Hot Seats" during the day two, final weigh in. There will be personnel available to take your catch to the release boat and will return your weigh in bag to the weigh in site. Any team may waive taking the hot seats; it is not mandatory.
